Principal Letter for January

Dear Parents and Guardians,

Welcome to January!  It is so hard to believe that winter break is over and 2020 has begun! We truly hope that everyone had a safe and relaxing winter vacation!  This school year is going by so quickly and Spring Break will be here before we know it. We are excited for a new year, there is a sense of excitement. Once again, we are so grateful for all the students, parents, and staff that focus on our excellent teaching and learning on a daily basis.

Winter is here and snow is coming! There is a chance for extremely dangerous snow covered roads. Plan a few extra minutes during these winter months to get safely to and around Ritzman CLC. As the snow piles up, the streets and parking lot can become more difficult to maneuver. Be aware of the proper places for dropping off students and parking during winter.  In the event of snow days, listen for an all call or school closings on the local news.  If the forecast calls for bad weather, please be sure to tune in to local radio or television stations in the morning so that you will be aware of any delays, early closings or cancellations that may be made.  Notices are issued as early as possible by the Superintendent after consultation with the highway department and the bus company. The district’s All Call system will be used to send a phone message. Please know the decision is made with safety as the primary concern.
