Principal's All Call March 4, 2019
Posted on 03/03/2019

This is Mrs. McIntosh with our weekly message.

I first want to begin by saying, there has been a lot of illness in our building this past week. The Summit County Public Health has seen a significant increase of illness throughout Summit County. They have sent the schools 3 letters to help parents know when their child is too sick and symptoms to watch for. Mrs. Miller has posted these on our Ritzman Website within APS’ website. Let me know if you would like a paper copy.

Here are some events for this week.

Ritzman will begin MAP testing on Monday and MAP testing will continue for two weeks until March 15th. Your child will be taking a Reading and a Math MAP test within this two week period. We need students to be well rested and eat a nutritious breakfast before going to class at 8:15 a.m.

On Friday, PTO will be having their treat sale after school.

Here are other important announcements.

·         Just a reminder that the Tim Horton construction is underway next to our school. The company has asked that we use caution and stay away from the construction.

·         I have received another technology update. Our tech department has BLOCKED YouTube for our elementary students. Students will not be able to access YouTube at school.

·         Girls on the Run will begin on Monday, March 4th after school. If your daughter is interested in participating, please register them by visiting girlsontherun.org website.

·         Parents and guardians, please continue to call the school office if your child will be out of school for any reason. If your child is sick, this is an excusable absence. Thank you for calling each time they will be out of school.

If you have any questions about these weekly all calls, please call 330-761-7903 or email me at imcintos@apslearns.org.
