Dear Parents and Guardians,

Good Evening! We are in the 10 day countdown window for winter break. Due to the break coming up, starting Dec. 7, school meals may be picked up at schools from 11 a.m. – 12 p.m. There will be no meal service on days when schools are closed due to weather, holidays or other breaks.

I-Ready testing is continuing this week and students must complete independently in reading and math. I-Ready is a practice learning tool that will create an individualized path based on students’ answers. Teachers need true information about your child’s learning. 

Next, please remember our online expectations. Students cameras should be on. Teachers will also be reaching out to parents where students have their cameras off during class.

Interim reports are ready to view in Home Access.  Students can log on or Parents and Guardians may also use their own HAC. I am attaching a document that will show you how and a Parent Grading Communication document that will explain more about grades. Make sure you sign up for conferences this week. You can ask your child’s teacher questions about your child’s progress on December 10th. Available conference times are posted in the teacher's Google Classrooms and will run from 3:00 pm until 6:30pm. You must sign up for a conference time in order to meet with your child’s teacher. If you did not hear from your child’s teacher about signing up for a conference, please contact now. More information soon about conferences with art, music and physical education teachers.

Don’t forget to pick up 2 items in the main office. Each child will need to pick up volume 2 of their math workbook. Make sure they are responsible and take care of their book. We do not have extras for when they are misplaced. There are also art supplies for every student. Mrs. Knopp needs students to have these resources.

Here are a few quick announcements.

  • After Hours support continues Monday through Thursday from 4:00-7:00 pm and there are limited Saturday hours, too. 
  • Tech support continues on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:00 until 1:00pm only. Our tech support is at another location on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 
  • Make sure your children are taking good care of their Chromebooks.
