Principal's All Call October 27, 2019
Posted on 10/29/2019

Good Evening Parents and Guardians,

This is Mrs. McIntosh calling with our weekly message at 6

Thank you for coming out and joining us for our annual Harvest Parade. There were many who said they had a great time and love this community event. Students and parents also had a wonderful evening at the Munster Bash Dance Party. THANK YOU PTO!

I would also like to recognize 6 students who received a “RAMMIE” award. We had our first assembly this year and we recognized; Sal, Emmit, Jeremy, Isabella, Brandon and Brielle for always displaying good character, leadership, and citizenship by having excellent behavior. Congratulations to those students!

Now for this week, we begin the 2nd marking period and we have several events. There are two big events. The first is the Dental Sealant program will be here for 2nd graders that have signed permission forms from their guardian.  The actual sealant days are Tuesday and Wednesday. The second event is the 3rd grade ELA (English Language Arts) OST. This is a very important assessment for ALL 3rd graders. Please make sure your student is prepared with a good night’s rest and a healthy breakfast on both days. On Thursday, we will have our monthly perfect attendance breakfast beginning at 8 am sharp. Parents may come in with students beginning at 7:50 a.m. in order to get a seat. On Friday, PTO Spirit Wear order forms along with cash are due, November 1st.

Here are events later this month:

·  PTO Can Food Drive-November 4th-November 15th

A Message from AAA and Safety Patrol:

Dear Parents/Guardians,

In the interest of safety, we are asking you to please adhere to the items below:

  1. Please keep your speed at 10 mph or below when entering and leaving the parking area.
  2. Please look left and right for the BRIGHT YELLOW safety signs patrol raises to allow pedestrians to cross.
  3. Stay behind the cross walk so pedestrians can cross unimpeded.
  4. Drop your children as quickly as possible to allow continuous vehicle flow.

Remember, the church parking lot is available to let your children out. They can walk up the steps and cross.

Thank you for your attention to these concerns.
